So one group of scientists is speculating in one direction, and another group of scientists is speculating in the other direction. What ever happened to reserving judgment until there’s enough data?

Gene study suggests Native Americans came from Siberia – Yahoo! News
This is a tad ambiguous, isn’t it. What if there were multiple waves — or a continuous stream — of migrants from the same population in eastern Siberia over the course of thousands of years?
